Discover how we empower tribal communities through education, skill development, and sustainable livelihoods

JHARKHAND LAHANTI PROJECT

Alternately known as “Hope of Family,” the Jharkhand Lahanti Project aims at providing direct benefits to children, youth, and elderly people in determining a sustainable life with dignity by supporting, encouraging, and empowering them. This initiative is supported by “UNBOUND,” a US-based non-profit entity working towards conquering the devastating effects of poverty on families struggling heroically to make better lives for their children.

The strategy of the program is to facilitate holistic development of the life cycle of a needy family through promotion of the children in studies by direct benefit transfer approach i.e., sponsorship; inculcate skill development of their parents for livelihood promotion; promotion of marketing linkages for entrepreneur parents; organizing events to create awareness about Rights & Entitlements, collective participation approach theory, counseling sessions, and participative decisions.
